How we're responding to COVID-19

Keeping our Players Safe

As we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, Tipping Point Basketball is dedicated to keeping our players, coaching staff, and community as safe as possible.

Per Indiana’s “5 Stages to Get Indiana Back on Track” we are allowed to practice/condition without contact. As Indiana moves into Stage 4, contact will be allowed (June 14th) to have contact during our practices. We are taking this virus very seriously and will implement the below guidelines (as well as common sense) to our practices. There is also some information directly from our tournament directors stating how they will be handling their events while restrictions are in place.

Tipping Point Practices:

We will be following all guidelines put into place by East Lake Athletic Clubs. The number of people we have participating in our practices will count towards the number of people they are allowed to have in their gym at one time. -Parents will not be allowed in the gym during practices. -We will designate specific areas for players to get prepared for practice. This area will be specific to them where they put on shoes, jersey’s etc. This area will be sanitized between practices. -We encourage everyone who has their own basketball to use them. We will have basketballs available for those who do not have one. -All equipment will be sanitized in between each practice. -The court will be cleaned each night by East Lake Staff. -We encourage everyone to bring their own water. Drinking fountains will be closed. -Hand Sanitizer will be available for use throughout practice.
